What is forward-deployed engineering?
It is engineering done close to the business process: learning how work actually happens, building within existing systems, and improving the software with its users. Here, I apply that approach to AI, automation, and custom software.
Do you need a full specification to start?
No. A process owner, representative examples, and a costly step are enough to begin discovery. The first scope should make one complete workflow work before expanding it.
Does forward-deployed mean on-site?
It describes proximity to the work and direct collaboration with operators; it does not by itself promise on-site staffing. We can agree on the working arrangement when we discuss the project.
